Well I had a bunch of tracks left over from yesterdays mix. I ended up getting back on the decks several hours later, hit record and just started playing around. Here is the result, a set that goes back to my electro roots.
I finally got a chance to use DeadMau5’s Ghost N Stuff vocal mix and a few other tracks that have been sitting in the new pile for awhile.
Overall, I feel its def an upbeat mix with solid vocals to bat. I end with a tribute to a few of my friends who have been on my case about throwing in some Daft Punk and specifically something from the upcoming Tron Legacy soundtrack. I found a sample, it may not end up being called Fragile but that’s is how I found it.
Anyhow, expect a few minor updates to the blog, one being more content. I will start writing some editorials soon. I’m going to get back to providing a lot more content and reading material from my thoughts again. This should be a portal not only for great mixes but great content as well.
Enjoy,
~ Let Her K.

Well, here it is, a very deep and soulful mix. A ton of new tracks on here including a few with some great vocals. It clocks in just under an hour. Leave some comments, let me know what you think!
Well, I’m just rounding up a few more solid tracks then I’ll put one out. So sit tight, and if you’re on this side of the world, enjoy the fall weather coming in.
Drop me a line or recommend a track and I’ll try to use it.
Well, I’m finally back with a mix. I do apologize, but this in my opinion should be worth the wait. I threw in some solid remixes for good measure. Heavy influence from Sultan & Ned Shepard, who I feel have been putting out nothing but solid tracks and remixes.
I used many different tracks and styles that derive and define the direction electronic music is going this fall and probably into the spring. Tech house, Breaks, Hard Tribal beats and of course those remixes of classics we’ve all come to love.
I hope you enjoy this mix.
Cheers,
~Let Her K

ok, I’m totally working on one! Just give me a bit more and I’ll have my “end of summer 2009” mix done. I’ve been busy enjoying the last of the summer(well lack of one this year).
Finally back with a new mix! I think the weather has had an influence on this mix and the scene. It’s been nothing but miserable here in Toronto this week, rain rain and more rain!
The chart toppers in this mix have been affected too, definitely a darker and deeper mix. I stray slightly away from my usual style and dove into a deep cave of sorts. The mix does build up in the middle with hard hitting bass that I am certain you will enjoy. Not much else to say then my favorite track for the moment on this mix is split between “Mamdaye” and “Back to Ipanema”. What’s your favorite?
As always, Enjoy!

I have been doing my best to enjoy this summer, the weathers been great and I have been out a lot. I have a bunch of new tracks, I just have not gotten the time to put them together. Sit tight, I’ll have something soon.
First of all, I picked up the new Rane SL-3 and left my settings on Serato the same but I def had a few quick USB drop outs , suffice to say I have to figure it out. Anyhow, the show must go on and this mix kept on recording(wasn’t going to stop my groove)
Onto the mix, just wanted to throw something together to compliment my last mix, again with some Way Out West influence and keeping with the same tone.
I got a lot of positive feedback from my last mix and I thank you all for sending them to me. Not much more to say then that, enjoy this mix while your in and out of Delirium.

So this post has been a long time coming, I had issues getting the pics of the camera hence the delay. Onto the show, and what a show it was! Busy P definitely brought it at this event, with several classic hits and that contagious Busy P. style. Wrongbar was hands down a perfect venue for this night; I still believe that it has one of the best sound systems in the city.
The night started off uneventful, I was sitting at home contemplating heading out with what looked and felt like a tropical thunderstorm outside my window. I got down there through the gruesome weather and got in at the perfect time. A mere 30min before the man himself went on stage. Now the crowd was filled with Queen Street hipsters and of course Daft Punk followers alike.
The act that I caught right before Busy P; RYNECOLOGIST; played some killer tracks himself. One track that definitely took me back to my younger days was “666 – Alarma”. I find it funny that the hipster kids here in Toronto dance along to it like they recognize it; they must have been 6 or 7 when it came out, no way at that age you can claim classics as your own. The energy was much appreciated none the less and the crowd was primed and ready at this point for Busy P to come on stage.
Finally he gets up there and decides to throw down what ends up being a great set. Best part about it all? I got to speak with Busy P. before hand thanks to my friend D. Fresh (Pictured below) and we talked to him about a few older mixes and threw around some musical jargon to sound cool. Fresh then asks about a song ; Vampire Weekend – A punk, and Busy P. opens his set with that track! an extremely cool feeling to take his suggestion.
The set was well balanced, I heard MGMT – Kids, Feadz – Cold as Feadz, of course several other remixes as well.
Well another mix!, this has to be my most “chilled” out mix yet. My inspiration came from a lazy Sunday of course, just kicking back by the water and having a cold beer. Nothing better than that, a lot of Way Out West influence. I def. brought in the new Gui Boratto track a little early but its still on beat so whatever! I can’t wait for the new Way Out West album this fall, last track is off the new album as is “Future Perfect”.
Enjoy this Lazy Summer mix while you’re at the beach or on your patio this summer!
Don’t worry, I should have a few more throughout to keep you going.
