First of all, I picked up the new Rane SL-3 and left my settings on Serato the same but I def had a few quick USB drop outs , suffice to say I have to figure it out. Anyhow, the show must go on and this mix kept on recording(wasn’t going to stop my groove)
Onto the mix, just wanted to throw something together to compliment my last mix, again with some Way Out West influence and keeping with the same tone.
I got a lot of positive feedback from my last mix and I thank you all for sending them to me. Not much more to say then that, enjoy this mix while your in and out of Delirium.

So this post has been a long time coming, I had issues getting the pics of the camera hence the delay. Onto the show, and what a show it was! Busy P definitely brought it at this event, with several classic hits and that contagious Busy P. style. Wrongbar was hands down a perfect venue for this night; I still believe that it has one of the best sound systems in the city.
The night started off uneventful, I was sitting at home contemplating heading out with what looked and felt like a tropical thunderstorm outside my window. I got down there through the gruesome weather and got in at the perfect time. A mere 30min before the man himself went on stage. Now the crowd was filled with Queen Street hipsters and of course Daft Punk followers alike.
The act that I caught right before Busy P; RYNECOLOGIST; played some killer tracks himself. One track that definitely took me back to my younger days was “666 – Alarma”. I find it funny that the hipster kids here in Toronto dance along to it like they recognize it; they must have been 6 or 7 when it came out, no way at that age you can claim classics as your own. The energy was much appreciated none the less and the crowd was primed and ready at this point for Busy P to come on stage.
Finally he gets up there and decides to throw down what ends up being a great set. Best part about it all? I got to speak with Busy P. before hand thanks to my friend D. Fresh (Pictured below) and we talked to him about a few older mixes and threw around some musical jargon to sound cool. Fresh then asks about a song ; Vampire Weekend – A punk, and Busy P. opens his set with that track! an extremely cool feeling to take his suggestion.
The set was well balanced, I heard MGMT – Kids, Feadz – Cold as Feadz, of course several other remixes as well.
Well another mix!, this has to be my most “chilled” out mix yet. My inspiration came from a lazy Sunday of course, just kicking back by the water and having a cold beer. Nothing better than that, a lot of Way Out West influence. I def. brought in the new Gui Boratto track a little early but its still on beat so whatever! I can’t wait for the new Way Out West album this fall, last track is off the new album as is “Future Perfect”.
Enjoy this Lazy Summer mix while you’re at the beach or on your patio this summer!
Don’t worry, I should have a few more throughout to keep you going.

So, I caught DJ Falcon in Toronto this past weekend and I have to admit the show was mediocre. Now I do give credit where credit is due and he did throw down some great remixes, but the greatest flaw in the night was the venue. State didn’t provide the punchy sound some of the tracks needed and it fell short for me. I did enjoy the night , it was fun to dance to some classic tunes and I did run into a ton of other fellow DJ’s from the local Toronto scene. If you were there drop me a line, next up will be the Busy P. event in 2 weeks.
Side note – I have an overflow of new tracks and some pretty solid summer “tuneage”. Some massive vocal tracks and some deep dark floor fillers as well. I am planning on putting it together this week, so keep checking back and thanks again for the support.
I finally had time to make a new mix! Ok tried some new things out with blending and mixing. Not sure how I feel about it yet, need to keep listening and keep practicing.
Anyhow, enjoy the first new mix of the summer!

Pretty happy with that number, a little over a year and I’ve finally passed 20,000. Now it doesn’t seem like a lot to some but for me it’s definitely nice to know this site is growing. I do updates whenever I can and unlike other sites that provide content daily, I think I’ve done alright. Thanks for the support again and keep on coming back for more!
Yup, sometime with this whole variable recording deal, Critical Mass is actually 75min long, but shows as 58min, I don’t know how to fix this and if someone does, please email me!.
just letting you know if you were skipping through the mix.
First mix of the new year!. This is the first set i’ve done on my new Technics I got, and they are amazing. Anyhow, it starts slow and builds up till the critical mass as I see it. The set really explodes with energy 40min in and doesn’t stop till the end. Sue me for the last song, but I had to go and needed to wrap things up, so I brought it in as quickly as possible.
